Lodge Pole Pine logs are chosen due to their superior strength versus weight ratio and are harvested in the Kootenai National Forest via a very selective process. Only trees that are "standing dead", that is, they have died but not fallen, are chosen. This furniture is hand-crafted using round mortise and tenon joinery that woodworkers have used for millennia for a rigid and strong assembly. The gun cabinet holds eight rifles or shotguns protected by lock and key. Underneath are two small drawers and a concealed storage area that easily holds your ammo and other sporting essentials.
