From the Majestic Mountains of Montana to Your Home...

Hand-crafted by highly skilled artisans in the U.S.A., the Glacier Country Collection features a truly remarkable finish reminiscent of the “Grand Lodges of the Rockies” circa 1900. First, craftsmen remove the outer bark by hand using an old-fashioned draw knife while leaving the inner cambium layer intact for increased texture and contrast. After assembly, the process is completed in an eight step, professional finish process that applies premium grade stain and clear lacquer for a durable, low maintenance finish. The result? Dark rich hues and warm tones provide an extraordinary appearance to compliment your exceptional rustic lifestyle!

Master craftsmen hand-craft each piece with an attentive eye toward creating a one of a kind, heirloom quality item that will last for generations to come. All pieces in the Glacier Country Collection are created one at a time in the majestic mountains of Montana using only solid, American-grown, genuine Lodge Pole Pine and are signed by the artisan who made it.

Lodge Pole Pine is chosen for its superior strength to weight ratio. It is also straighter, thus making it easier to work the raw wood into the highest quality furniture possible. This Lodge Pole Pine is harvested in the Kootenai National Forest via a very selective process. Skilled woodsmen select each tree with an attentive eye toward the quality, straightness and size of each specimen. After felling, each piece is hand carried to the road to ensure both the tree and the environment remain unharmed. Only trees that are “standing dead” (i.e. the tree has died but remains standing) are chosen for this furniture.

Glacier Country furniture is assembled using the “mortise and tenon” joinery system. Simple and strong, this method of joining multiple individual pieces into a single, rigid assembly has been used for millennia by woodworkers throughout the world. You can be confident in this method of joinery and in the quality of these products as a 20-year limited warranty is included at no additional cost.
