The idea is simple - reclaim old wood, restore its beauty and character, and repurpose it into heirloom quality furniture.
During the early 1900's, factories across the southeast used these carts to transport furniture, fabric, and other supplies across factory floors. This unique piece of history is an authentic American vintage original, made of solid wood from the Appalachian Mountains. The wood, along with the cast metal hardware, has been completely refurbished for the home. Sizes of these carts may vary from 44” wide x 22” deep x 16” high to 50” wide x 28” deep x 16” high depending upon their previous use in a warehouse long ago. No two carts are alike - all imperfections, distressing, cracks, etc. have remained untouched during the refurbishing process to preserve the unique character and history of each piece.
