Moose Wall Coat Rack
This Moose Wall Coat Rack is based on Marc Pierce's own life experiences:
"Moose are the largest member of North America's Deer family. They are massive in size and biologically fascinating. And beyond those facts and more...they are just plain outrageous to behold! I believe the reason they are portrayed in so many cartoons, art, etc is that they are one of those animals that prove beyond doubt that the creator has a sense of humor. Their huge body is propped up on undersized legs, their horns can be the size of a ping-pong table, they have a face only their Mom could love, and a beard. They can be docile giants, but when provoked or fearing for their calf they can be as a terrifying as a grizzly bear. What an amazing and fascinating critter! I have been blessed to live most of my life in close proximity to moose and I always marvel when I see them. In this scene, a cow and bull visit a spring of open water, a sight often seen in our neck of the woods."
