They carefully peel the bark with a drawblade, then hand sand each log to accent and showcase nature's beauty. All pieces are hand rubbed with linseed oil and beeswax sealant for a rich, natural luster.
Beautiful and functional, these solidly built Rustic Arts Aspen Chests bring the ambiance of the great outdoors to any bedroom. They feature dovetail drawers for strength and stability and are available in half-log or flat drawer fronts. These pieces have aspen corner trim and leg bases. The tops showcase thick, naturally curved log edges on the front and sides. High-quality roller glides and durable hinges are used throughout. The top is protected with a hand brushed polyacrylic finish for ease of dusting and stain resistance.
