Tatonka Lodge Rug
The American Bison is commonly known as the American Buffalo and is the largest extant land animal in North America. The bison once ranged from Canada's far north to Mexico in the south, and from eastern Oregon almost to the Atlantic Ocean. However, bison were hunted almost to extinction in the 19th century. Today, the only continuously wild bison herd in the United States resides within Yellowstone National Park. Numbering between 3,000 and 3,500, this herd is descended from a remnant population of 23 individual mountain bison that survived the mass slaughter of the 1800s by hiding out in the Pelican Valley of Yellowstone Park.
Paying tribute to the mighty buffalo, this Tatonka Lodge Rug features rich, earthy tones and a southwestern design that will add a touch of the 'Old West' to your décor. Not only pleasing to the eyes, but soft and luxurious to the touch, this rug is made from 100% olefin and is stain, soil and fade resistant. Vacuum or professionally clean only.
