The Bridgehampton Uwharrie Swing is a fresh twist to the Original Uwharrie Swing and was created to offer not only eco-friendly all-weather seating, but comfort and class for years to come. With their rugged good looks and solid construction, these swings and their companion pieces will add style and character to your year round outdoor settings.
These heavy, generously scaled products are hand crafted in the United States from one inch thick, premium grade, kiln-dried, pressure treated, plantation grown, southern yellow pine, an American renewable resource.
Its premium, kiln-dried treated lumber construction ensures years of performance; and its distressed finish treatment provides a careworn, antique appearance. Individual pieces are lightly distressed and sanded to reveal bare wood in random areas. Consequently, even new swings appear to be antiques, and no two are exactly alike. The wood used in Uwharrie Swings requires no additional protection from exposure to weather. It is insect and rot resistant; and it may be stained or painted (or left natural). Their rustic character is enhanced over time as the products are exposed to the elements.
